Since 1954, the men and women of Kenova Volunteer Fire Department have served the citizens of
Kenova West Virgina and surrounding communities. When emergencies occur, the members of Kenova Volunteer Fire Department stand ready to respond, twenty
-four hours a day, seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days a year. Currently, the Kenova Volunteer Fire Department has seventy-one trained personnel
ready to respond to any life-threatening emergencies at any time. In 2004, we answered almost 1,200 calls for assistance.
We are an ISO Class 6 department and we currently respond from two fire stations. We serve a population of approximately 6,300 people and close to a 65 square mile area. |
